Four Eateries to Open on Ground Floor of Midtown 5

The newly opened Midtown 5 has inked leases with four new dining concepts. 

They include:

MIAMI (April 24, 2017) – Midtown Five will soon serve a new menu of dining concepts for Miami foodies. Magellan Development Group – an award-winning national real estate development company headquartered in Chicago – announced today that it has inked lease agreements with Japanito, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, MidiCi and Raw Juice to encompass a total of 8,339 square feet of ground-floor retail space at the 24-story luxury apartment tower, with planned openings in the fourth quarter. 

The recently-completed Midtown Five, now open for occupancy, is Magellan Development Group’s first project in Miami. Situated in the heart of the Midtown Miami neighborhood, Midtown Five is comprised of 400 luxury apartments, with a selection of unparalleled indoor and outdoor amenities. Each eatery will deliver an exciting mix of culinary options for Midtown Five residents, surrounding community members and businesses to savor. 

“We are excited to announce the first collection of retailers that will call Midtown Five home, which will bring daily activity to our ground floor and added convenience to our residents,” said Brian Gordon, Executive Vice President of Magellan Development Group. “At Midtown Five, we’ve designed spaces to encourage socializing, creativity and easy living. The addition of these new tenants will reinforce that notion by catering to the community’s various lifestyles, each through a unique cuisine and style.” 

Japanito will offer fresh, customizable sushi bowls and sushi burritos, served in biodegradable packaging. The fast-casual setting will be comprised of 897 square feet. 

Previously located in the Shops at Midtown, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill will relocate to a 2,616-square-foot space, serving its popular selection of Mexican plates from tacos to fajitas and is set to open in summer 2017. 

Complementing several exercise offerings in Midtown Miami, including Midtown Five’s spacious amenity-level fitness center, Raw Juice will satisfy the cravings of active and health-conscious patrons in its 1,328-square-foot setting. Raw Juice features a menu of smoothies, acai bowls, salads and cold pressed juices that are made with organic and local ingredients. 

Jon Samuel of Midtown Group represented Midtown Five’s ownership in the transactions. 

Midtown Five officially opened in January 2017. The building offers a variety of flow-through floor plans, including studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, ranging from 540 to 1,500 square feet. Each home has been thoughtfully designed with nine-foot-high ceilings, while floor-to -ceiling windows offer panoramic views of Midtown Miami, the city skyline and Biscayne Bay. 

The project boasts more than 52,000 square feet of amenities, in addition to 22,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Catering to families, canine companions, wellness enthusiasts, and business professionals, offerings include a children’s play area, designated dog run, meditation garden and business center. 

Midtown Five has greatly contributed to the expansion of the Midtown Miami neighborhood, with a walk score of 95 (out of 100), the development makes an impact through its sophisticated details and LEED certified design.
